Also, it mentions how progressive businesses are essential, but they cannot replace progressive governments. I think companies should be held to some standard of accountability with their operations. This is not saying every business should strive to be a Certified B Corporation, but the world would be a better place if organizations were limited to how much waste they produced, for example. They would be held to a higher standard by the government, and therefore, to remain operating, they would have to fit specific measures regarding their social and environmental impact. An example of this in action would be the Trudeau government making it illegal for sing
